I have been working at Live Nation Entertainment full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Intimate creative setting, very supportive and approachable upper level staff with a hands-on attitude towards every aspect of company culture and projects. Highly collaborative, forward thinking. Staff maintains a culture of being creatively cutting edge and welcoming to fresh perspectives.

    Cons

I can't think of anything negative to say about LN, working here is a dream, and I look forward to walking into the office every morning and bring welcomed by so many ambitious people.

    Pros

This company puts on the best shows and has assembled a team of professionals to make that happen!!

    Cons

Long hours due to the demanding show schedule. Hard to achieve work life balance at times.

    Advice to Management

Reward top performers in meaningful ways.

I worked at Live Nation Entertainment part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some of the pros associated with this job were the great coworkers, the interesting nature of the work, and the interesting customers.

    Cons

Some of the cons associated with this job were dealing with heavily intoxicated and rowdy customers, standing for hours with no relief, and the minimum-wage pay grade.

    Advice to Management

I think this company does a good job of managing talent given their parameters. It is a typical part-time, low wage job that is perfect for students and retirees.

I have been working at Live Nation Entertainment part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The staff at Live Nation is a great bunch of people. Management is easy going and personable and there is a real drive to keep everyone upbeat and cohesive. Hours are great, especially if you're a night person and the opportunities to see all different types of live entertainment makes going to work an adventure. There are opportunities to move upward if you can prove yourself and they are very flexible about lateral moves and sharing staff between departments. If you show an interest in learning the business, they are happy to accomodate. Major changes have taken place in the last few years and it just keeps getting better. Even part time employees are offered an insurance option.

    Cons

At the outdoor venues, weather can be really awful. Security staff isn't always on the same page with the venues' rules and needs but that's not the fault of Live Nation.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing.

I worked at Live Nation Entertainment part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This was my very first job. It was an amazing opportunity for something to start out on. You get to really experience customer service and have fun while working. You get to hear live concerts for free and get paid to enjoy it. Management is very nice, courteous and trustworthy.

    Cons

The hours are long but worth it, breaks are 15 minutes but by the time you get across the center to a food place or to a bathroom, you're running low on break time so you have to rush. You're standing your entire shift.

    Advice to Management

A little more time for breaks -

I have been working at Live Nation Entertainment full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Opportunities for growth and relocation. The job comes with great perks and benefits.

    Cons

The bureaucracy that comes along with working for a large corporation makes it difficult to affect change sometimes - at least not at a fast rate. Salaries for support staff are too low for the work required.

I worked at Live Nation Entertainment full-time

    Pros

Cool job working in media and entertainment.

    Cons

I've worked there for 5years and received alot of praise for hardwork. Unfortunately that did not translate into a raise or promotion. People are overworked thus having low morale. No company culture.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees. Don't make them write their own yearly reviews.

  11. Plenty of hiring, as the attrition rate is through the roof.

I have been working at Live Nation Entertainment full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

You'll have access to "grass seats" (if not sold out) to most Live Nation amphitheaters.

    Cons

Horrible attrition rate, especially at Ticketmaster. Company management only has their best interest in mind. Perks, and benefits announced by company, if implemented at all are quickly, and quietly taken away soon after. Employees are treated horribly, and comps vary widely from group to group (Live Nation owns 6-10 different companies, including Ticketmaster).
