Great work at home op

I worked at LiveOps as a contractor for more than a year

ProsTraining was great and the pay was always on time and I was able to find plenty of online forums for co-workers.

ConsYou have to pay for your own back ground check and but some equipment for start up. It would be nice to have this provided or at least an option to purchase equipment at a discount. They are not lenient at all on variations from scripts, if you are afraid of up sells or it bothers you to feel as though you are hounding someone this will not be a good fit for you.

- Great engineers
- Good Technology

ConsGrowing company syndrome where it's not totally organized (documentation, have to figure out system architecture, design, technology by yourself because people left or did not have time to update/produce documentation

Advice to Senior ManagementOn the right track, keep current people happy, cloud is getting bigger and bigger.

Call Center Agent (Former Employee)

I worked at LiveOps as a contractor for more than a year

ProsContractor status so you're in control of your time and intensity. I love being able to control my schedule. Option to work any slot 24hrs a day. Have built up my business to have many lines to take calls for. Live Ops has been well worth the training investment and the application fees.

ConsLiveOps gives opportunities and takes them away at will, can be unsettling. Schedule on preferred lines can be unpredictable. Lines can be taken away without much notice.

Advice to Senior ManagementGive agents a great sense of security. Give more notice for an agent to "fix" performance before taking away lines.

I love my job

I have been working at LiveOps full-time for less than a year

ProsWork from home eliminates fuel cost, no dress code, schedule in 30 minute increments, talk to people all day long, rewarding work! Bonuses offered.

ConsStart with company has to be sales (infomercials), sometimes the call volume isn't there to support pay, pay per minute rates, independent contractor, no benefits.

Advice to Senior ManagementStart allowing the work from home contractors the ability to advance in the company to become actual employees of LiveOps.

LiveOps provides good training is very supportive.

ProsVery flexible schedule
Can log in and work uncommitted.
Can choose to work 30 min. blocks
No minimum set hours required.
No more QC's

ConsAutomatically terminated if you go pass 45 days of not working.
Too many product upsells on most products.
Pay is 25 cents per minute but can be more with upsells.

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement is pretty good with addressing concerns. Overall, I'm satisfied.

Love my job but we should be a better company by now

- Flexible Schedules
- Ability to work from home
- Appreciated for the work you do
- Challenging work that keeps you busy

Cons- Underpaid
- Overworked at times
- Feel like the company has their hands in too many pots.

Advice to Senior ManagementTake the time to really decide in which direction the company is going, make a plan to get there and stick to it! You have an entire company full of smart, dedicated people who want Liveops to succeed. Let the employees show you that we are capable of making that happen!
