Not the place for older employees regardless of experience

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
    Bristol, England (UK)

ProsLocation, pension , discounts on products. Poor leadership from team leaders. Ok work life balance.

ConsPeople being groomed for promotion. No prospects for people over 35. Being penalised for working 30hrs Form of bullying from team leaders and higher management.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop using the line "if you don't like it you can always leave. If you go quietly and do not make a fuss we will pay you to the end of the month. Make older employees feel valued and do not treat them as though they are senile

Very difficult to make a difference.

    Techie (Current Employee)
    Bournemouth, England (UK)

ProsIn the main, a freindly workplace. Some very talented, open and co-operative colleagues. Good package/holiday/pension etc.

ConsBogged down with process, difficult to make a difference. Lots of political infighting which hinders any meaningful progress.

LV= has a propensity to talk itself out of implementing projects.

Advice to Senior ManagementLess rhetoric, more meaningful action. There is much talk about improving things and plenty of spin but substance has been lacking.
