Pros – great discounts on a variety of brands. opportunity to work at a variety of stores. opportunity to learn different aspects of the retail world.
Cons – The work/life balance is not respected and you are required to continually go above and beyond with no recognition for your efforts.
Advice to Senior Management – Respect ALL levels of employees. Don't treat people as if they are dispensible. You gain loyalty by treating people with respect.
Pros – Good benefits package. You can use your employee discount at other Liz Claiborne owned brands.
Compensation was decent.
Cons – Poor training, corporate makes lots of mistakes with marketing, payroll, etc.
Advice to Senior Management – Better training program from corporate office to field managers, to store team.
Pros – The best thing about working for Lucky Brand is the discount, the employee gets 60% off anything bought themself and 40% something bought as a gift for someone else. If you are an associate working very part time Lucky Brand can be a fun and laid back place to work but don't try to get promoted and certainly don't have the desire to know what is going on in management, you will be disappointed and learn to hate the company
Cons – Disresepect to all employees, the pay is not competetive, the upper management is not profesional, constant accusation of things you didnt do so they can try to admitt to something you did do even if you didn't do anything. they would rather hire outsaide the company then promote with in. Constant change in policy and proceedure, they have a low budget so they are constantly cutting hours of employees even if the employee is full time. I would not recomend this company to ANYONE!!!!
Advice to Senior Management – Treat your employees with respect and reward hard work. If you paid competetively you would have good employees who care and your profit will go and turn over will go down!
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
