    Pros

They are willing to work with their employees on pretty much anything. The company is fun, flexible, social, and constantly improving.

    Cons

Can be very clique oriented, the producers are the ones doing most of the selling, and busy seasons are very busy.

    Advice to Management

Set more internal standards for employee performance benchmarking.

I have been working at Lockton Companies (More than a year)

    Pros

It is a great company to work for that genuinely cares about their employees. They have many employee appreciation type events. Beer Fridays and an awesome xmas party every year.

    Cons

They have the capability to work remote/from home, but will not allow it. Don't have a great Vacation day vs years worked perk. Not a great maternity leave program.

    Advice to Management

Allow people the option to work from home on a case by case basis. One person can't spoil it for everyone. Leave it up to the managers to verify work is being done. You can't be ok with someone coming into the office and essentially doing no work, vs having someone work hard from home.

I worked at Lockton Companies full-time

    Pros

    Flex time, very relaxed environment

    Cons

Overworked and underpaid, they have their favorites so it may take you longer to get recognized or move up unless you are on a team that cares about you.

    Advice to Management

Recognize and appreciate your good employees before they are all gone. Don't just show recognition to the "favorites".

    Pros

Focused on training and promoting from within

    Cons

Promotions may come slow. Takes focus and time but worth it when it comes

I worked at Lockton Companies full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Benefits were good. Rolex after 10 years. Health insurance was great.

    Cons

No heart, you are not allowed tp be a human being. You are just a production number. Was let go for "performance", when my production rate was over 100 percent... no official training program at Affinity location. There was no encouragement or positivity on my team. Not allowed to ask questions. This was a very negative place to work.

    Advice to Management

Have a heart! You're working with humans not robots!

I have been working at Lockton Companies full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good company, they will invest significantly in you and give you all the tools to succeed. You will work hard while working, but good balance and lots of socializing and networking.

    Cons

Feedback doesn't come as often on a day to day type basis. Sometimes feel that I am competing against my peers

    Advice to Management

Keep investing in training the new talent and ensuring that you are setting a strong foundation. Keep the culture alive.

  11. Lockton is a great company but Office Services is a joke

    Pros

Lockton has amazing benefits and a wonderful culture. I really enjoyed working with my co-workers and the coordinator of OSD. I just unfortunately landed in the wrong dept. with the wrong supervisor. There is a lot of potential to build a career at Lockton.

    Cons

The office services dept. is a joke. If you accept a position here plan to be treated like a high school student by one of the mail supervisor. The pay is low. Stress is high for a job that should not have that much stress.

    Advice to Management

Invest in supervisors who have people skills and who aren't going to belittle your employees everyday.
