    Pros

Fun working environment, excellent people. The Company had a soul. Leadership for the most part treated everyone with respect.

    Cons

The Leadership was a little slow to act on weak performers. Leadership was slow to pivot off of bad decisions.

    Advice to Management

If you make a bad decision act on it immediately; don't let it drag out.

I have been working at LogMeIn full-time

    Pros

The company is great about rewarding employees who perform and dedicate themselves to their job. As a member of the Sales organization at LogMeIn, I can say that there is no shortage of incentives, SPIFs, company lunches, outings, and many other ways that the company shows appreciation for its employees. The company is growing and there are opportunities for advancement. Overall, the management team that is in place is approachable and sincerely cares about the quality of life of their employees.

    Cons

The company is in a transitional period as they have grown out of "start-up" status, and are finding their footing as a mid-size company. This can mean a lot of internal change and can keep you on your toes.

    Advice to Management

Continue to invest in your performers internally as the company grows.

I worked at LogMeIn full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

great work environment, smart people, good pay for top performance

    Cons

The product lines are a little schizophrenic - iOT, collaboration, chat, remote connectivity - not much of a common theme

    Advice to Management

Don't neglect the B to C support space. It's where almost all the big deals come from.

I worked at LogMeIn as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people, fun environment, great location just next to South Station

    Cons

Contract work, never would give straight answers on possibility to work there full time.

    Advice to Management

Set a guideline to become full time if continuing down road of temp to perm work, will motivate workers better.

I have been working at LogMeIn full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Logmein is an excellent company with extremely bright people working in all departments. Company has performed well consistently and senior and front-line management work hard to support a great culture and listen to the changes the staff asks of them. Great products, great offices, great benefits, flexible work schedule, successful performance year after year. Recently adjusted compensation on sales team and increased almost everyone's pay. New comp plans also offer new incentives to make over $100k in sales which is a plus.

    Cons

Still dealing with growing pains from their start-up days to their next phase. Some long term staff afraid of change and stuck in "the good ol' days" when there was little management and products sold themselves. Lot of young reps with 1st job who don't know how real companies operate. Logmein is progressing from small to mid-size company and have hired staff and invested in tools to bring the company to the next level which is great. Some staff disgruntled about changes but positive changes to comp, communication, and sales teams have been good in last few months.

    Advice to Management

Keep culture strong but be clear in reasons why making changes and why new focus on sales metrics matter.

I have been working at LogMeIn full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

-Amazingly smart people -Great products that are loved by our customers -Awesome location (Boston) -Huge opportunity for the company to grow (and it's growing now rapidly) -New leadership team bringing the structure that's needed

    Cons

-Parts of the company still operate like a small company which leaves communication gaps but this is something being worked on diligently by the leadership team and others -We haven't always sold or marketed as well as we could have, but the products themselves are amazing so if we do a better job telling our story, the sky's the limit

    Advice to Management

Keep the amazing spirit of the culture while adding some structure so we have a clear path for growth

I have been working at LogMeIn full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I never take my work home. Beer cart Fridays. They are always out of the office opportunities to network and catch up with people outside of work.

    Cons

No 401k match and more vacation time would be nice.

    Pros

The company recognized where it needed to make improvements to keep up with the demands of rapid growth. Many companies ignore the requests of their employees if profits are maintained. LogMeIn has realized that the only way to really screw up a great company is to destroy its culture.

    Cons

Seems like salary ranges may be on the lower end of the curve based on outside feedback.

    Advice to Management

Continue to offer platforms for your employees to talk back and engage the management team. Front line to bottom line.
