Former Employee – worked at Logan's Roadhouse part-time for more than a year
Pros – Fun atmosphere, great teamwork, restaurant has good hours for balancing family life or school, the food.
Cons – Management is a little too laid back, lower prices make for lower tips.
Advice to Senior Management – Consistency is key in the restaurant business. It trickles down from management.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

Current Employee – been working at Logan's Roadhouse part-time for more than a year
Pros – Most of my co-workers are awesome and the rolls are tasty and free for employees.
Cons – Management does not communicate with each other or the rest of the staff. Raises are non-existent and the "fast-track" to management I was told about during my interview is a joke. Kitchen employees are expected to learn and work several positions without due compensation and are often scheduled for shifts of twelve to fourteen hours without a thirty minute break. Also, the lack of training is ridiculous. You are pretty much thrown into the middle of a shift and expected to figure things out on your own.
Advice to Senior Management – Invest in your employees and make them feel appreciated. Someone who has been working for a company for five years should not make less than two dollars more than a new hire. Communicate with each other. There shouldn't be a different set of rules depending on which manager is working. Promote from within the store; seeing a new manager come in from the outside is discouraging.

Former Employee – worked at Logan's Roadhouse full-time for more than a year
Pros – Flexible hours, good for school. Some advancement.
Cons – Weather, weather, weather. The management doesn't care how cold or hot it is, they expect you to do whatever they ask no matter the conditions. When it's freezing outside we're expected to keep doing our jobs as usual while the management sits on their butts in the heated office. Frostbite, heatstroke, if your not in need of a hospital than it's not that big of a deal. Management never notices how hard you work, they only notice the people who are telling others what to do while they themselves don't do any of the work load. Just seems that management doesn't care about their employees only what they need and their work load. They treat employees as if they all are expendable. We get paid 4.00 an hour and are still expected to do clean up work around the wash, if you want your line employees to do maintenance work that's fine, but pay them more to do so. I for one, do not want to stand a scrub stains off of the cement for an hour for 4 dollars. Most of the time the entrance employee doesn't even use the fan brush to get the dirt off of the rear of the car so when we dry the rear off it makes little scratches from the towels pushing the dirt around. Most of the time the bugs don't even get completely cleaned off, because once again the entrance employee doesn't use the bug spray.
Advice to Senior Management – We get paid 4.00 an hour and are still expected to do clean up work around the wash, if you want your line employees to do maintenance work that's fine, but pay them more to do so. I'm tired of getting no respect from the management. I work my butt off and I never get recognition for it. Like I said before, they treat us as if we are all expendable. WaterWay should be a lot more focused on the quality of the work rather than how fast we can get cars out. The customers pay good money for us to "detail" their car and not nearly enough time or effort Is actually put into the quality of the work. We constantly get pushed along to "go faster" and yet it is the quality that we should be focused on. I don't believe the customer gets what they pay for.

Former Employee – worked at Logan's Roadhouse full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Great relationships with co-workers, you really are responsible for what you make. If you dont whine and take care of your tables, then you will be granted better sections and closer hours.....more tables equals more money. Easy to advance in this company if you show up on time, dont call out, and work hard.
Cons – You make more money when times are busiest, which means if you want to make 600-800 per week you need to take on large parties and work every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Sometimes the economy really effects your tips. Its hard to have kids with this job due to late hours and many weekend hours. Great for college students though. You cannot be certain how much money you will make every week.
Advice to Senior Management – Our store was awesome, alot of care went into team building and you got the since that management really cared for their employees.

Former Employee – worked at Logan's Roadhouse full-time for more than a year
Pros – Schedule..Not much that I can say that's positive.
Cons – Horrible management...they don't care about their employees at all. My managers sat in the office all night and talked on their phone or played on social sites. Know for having guests come in and complain just to get free food.
Advice to Senior Management – Get off of your butts and be a leader!!!

Current Employee – been working at Logan's Roadhouse part-time for more than a year
Pros – Busy work environment, opportunities for competitive earnings. Company has posted stable earnings in recent years. 20 word minimum for this section of the review.
Cons – Very little chance for advancement, managers are usually hired from outside, not from within. Very little concern for safety of employees. Materials to accomplish requirements are often not provided.
Employees often suffered injuries on the job and were not allowed to seek medical treatment.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to single-plant employees about what is happening there.

Former Employee – worked at Logan's Roadhouse full-time for less than a year
Pros – It was a way to make a little money.
I liked working with most of the coworkers.
The general manager was laid back and not insulting workers like a lower level manager did all the time.
Cons – Schedule varied every week so it was hard to plan around work.
Had to know about two weeks in advance if I needed off from work or else I had to try to get coworkers to pick up shifts.
I generally worked the worst days (Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday).
I quit due to personal reasons and due to the fact that I was getting bullied by a coworker and nothing was being done about it. I stood up for myself but it just got a lot worse after that. The job was not worth keeping at that point.
Advice to Senior Management – The no bullying policy should be taken seriously. A coworker told me after I let him know I was quitting that the restaurant lost a lot of good employees because the long time workers run them off.
