    Survival of the fittest

    Consultant (Current Employee) Paris (France)

Pros- HR does a very good job at recruiting good people with skills and personnality to boot.
    - Some of our projects are an opportunity to transform industry roots
    - Flexible culture means that if you dare to suggest an idea, convince people to join and invest the time to make projects live all doors are open for you to do so.

Cons- Management is overworked and only rated on financial results. Thus their people management skills are wanting. Most also work in a cut-throat environment and are not very trust-worthy.
    - Internal management rules are extremely variable from one team to the next.
    - Favoritism is the only career opportunity available. Popular consultants may be sky-rocketted towards management positions in three years (with 10k+ pay increases); whereas most may stay up to 4y as a consultant.

Advice to Senior ManagementThink about your team a little more, give them space to think more and their work quality will be better. Stress is only a means to make them stress more and do poor work.
Also, favoritism just makes good consultants who do not go up question management values and leave.
