    quarterly bonus, health benefits, steady hours

    Cons

    bonus is taxed heavily, benefits are negligible at best

    Pros

    Positive and upbeat work environment. Nice Corporate feel to the office. Great communication between staff and management. Personable and effective DSM, Joe Pisano.. Reasonable daily activity expectation of teleprospecting and cold calling, I say this being as I am OK with making 50 phone calls and knocking on 30 doors each day. Great comp plan that rewards producers. At quota for the year you make $72000 . Stable sales position for those who know how much work needs to be put in to cut it.

    Cons

    Training could be improved. If you don't plan your day effectively you will experience heavy windshield time, but that is not on the company. you just need to plan well. Grasping the telephony knowledge can be challenging.

    Advice to Management

    From my encounters with the CEO on down, you are doing a great job. Keep up the good work. Continue to develop your fiber network and continue the lavish sales contest rewards. Very motivating.

    Customer service was generally pretty good.

    Cons

    Poor senior sales management, no real leadership. If they like you OK if not BAD.

    Advice to Management

    Add professional managers to your staff and let them run the sales organization.

    Pros

    Good starting pay, Thoroughly train all incoming personnel until they understand their positions. Open to all types of growth. Awesome benifits, and various perks from parking, to trips, to bonuses for all personnel. Tight nit group of individuals who are all very welcoming.

    Cons

    Long hours in front of a computer (but hey thats the business), big divide between departments that can sometimes be hard to work around. Will expect you to work a certain way, not always in the best way you understand.

    Keep up the good work. I am grateful to have encouraging management for a change.

    Pros

    Quarterly Bonus (measly few hundred bucks).

    Cons

    Management is promoted based on favoritism, not on skill level. Many Managers in Operations are clueless as to how the "real world" works and likes to use outdated puns and motivational posters instead of actually making changes. Management is often biased in decision making. There is absolutely no vision for the future. It is basically the same old same old day in and day out, same products, same managers, same processes, nothing has changed in over 20 years.

    Advice to Management

    Please hire qualified people. Most managers have little or no education beyond High School and it shows. Customer Service is lackluster despite the positive reviews. Most Customer Service people are getting 10-12 dollars an hour and you can guess what that translates to. Operations people average around 30K. The pay structure is horrendous with yearly increases of around 15-25 cents an hour.

    compensation, company stability, product reliability, company culture, middle and upper management support

    Cons

    limited coverage area (telecom provider), mostly hunting, high turnover for reps under 12 months

    training for persons who would like to be upwardly mobile

    Cons

    Title says it all. Training is decent but again read the title. Yes they size you up in training. Treat sales people like children. Call xx people. Bring in all biz cards minimum per day calls vary and 15 cards every afternoon. The CRM system is worthless for sales. Can't access from the field, can't print anything from it. CEO is paranoid sales people will steal the info. Uh screenshots anyone??

    Advice to Management

    Don't be a follower. That's a ridiculous selling point! Dont tell the sales reps it's a selling point. Don'reduce MRC'by 50% or more --have some pride in your product. And your marketing is an embarrassment.
