Long Island Radio Group Reviews
Pros – I was able to learn a lot, the employees there took the time to teach me as an intern. It is a very relaxed environment with great people and events. I learned a lot about the equipment and techniques. It had a very family like feel and the people were always happy and encouraging.
Cons – Not many prospects. Cubicle atmosphere. I feel that the people there just stay there because they are comfortable , enjoy their job and love their co workers but as for salary and promotions.. they are at a standstill.
Advice to Senior Management – Need more prospects. No glass ceiling
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
Pros – A fun environment to work in. Challenging work at times. Variety of things to do. Socially a great place to work.
Cons – Revolving door of employees. Job security is always in question no matter how well you do your job. May have to work overtime as well as weekends.
Advice to Senior Management – Broadcasting seems to have the culture of firing employees after a few years. Everyone knows each other and worked with each other at some point. Would be great if there was some type of job security.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Cons – Cramped office (in a shopping center)

Broadcasting is not corporate's primary focus
Advice to Senior Management – Doing the best they can considering the size of the company
