A company with great potential, now closed

Senior Manufacturing Associate (Former Employee) Hopkinton, MA

ProsGreat people, in the beginning there was lots of opportunity for advancement. Great benefits; fantastic health and dental insurance, great 401K contribution program. Well run safety program. The new suites were fantastic until the contamination.

ConsOld equipment repair was only a temporary fix. The equipment needed to be replaced but it was not in the budget. The new equipment was fantastic, but too many dead legs in the system lead to contamination.

Advice to Senior ManagementWhen you set up a suite listen to the employees on the floor. They want to do a good job and have contributions that will help the company in the future.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Highly dynamic. Timeline is everything.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsLonza is a CMO with a high turnover of customer projects. It gives you high exposure to different manufacturing processes. It is a great place to learn.

ConsThe downside of the high turnover of customer projects is that you will have to work under tremendous time stress. In addition, there has been a lot of organizational changes in the recent years.

    No Support

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsPay and benefits as well as some good people working at lower levels of the company.

ConsNo corporate support. Some people at high levels are only there because of the success of demand and sales of their product. At most other companies, these people would be seen for what they really are, which is incompetent.

Advice to Senior ManagementLayoff management, not the people that do the work.
