I worked at Los Angeles Clippers as an intern for less than a year
Pros – Flexible
Not your typical internship
Cons – Long Hours- must attend all games
No pay- school credit only
Not much room for advancement if you want a career in sports
Advice to Senior Management – Ask more from your interns. I would have loved being challenged more

I worked at Los Angeles Clippers as an intern
Pros – -Fun to work at outside events and games
-Being around the players
-Meet lots of different people
-Working with kids
-Making fans happy
Cons – -Mostly busy work so you don't actually learn much
-Management and others micro-manage
-No job opportunities after internship
-Managers were late almost everyday
Advice to Senior Management – Stop micro-managing and have more hands-on experiences for interns.

I have been working at Los Angeles Clippers full-time
Pros – This is a sports industry job which means you will build lots of fun and useful relationships with other people in the sports world as long as you make the effort to do so. You will get to go to games and player events and sometimes have access to tickets. Additionally you are a Clippers employee which is good for your Resume.
Cons – It is alot of work, lots of out bound calls and like all sales you will only get out of it what you put into it. Over 100 calls a day are expected and monitored. Leads at times are weak or non-existent with lulls in commissions based on time of year or time of season. You are bottom of the ladder here and they do little to make you feel otherwise.
Advice to Senior Management – Be realistic about the opportunity for advancement here. If there is little to none for an internal option you should make that clear to people before the start the job.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been working at Los Angeles Clippers full-time for more than a year
Pros – You get to watch some of the games for free
Free dinner on game nights
Cons – You get paid minimum wage
You do not get paid for the extra 4 hours working or "volunteering" to work the games
Management lies to clients and employees when they can not think of a sensible answer
Be prepared to work in a hostile environment
Get ready for hazing
No one is friendly, no one will help you
Your manager will not help you get promoted
Advice to Senior Management – I am amazed on how management can convince grads into working here for 6 months. Its the hardest sell in the world, and they pull it off.

I have been working at Los Angeles Clippers
Pros – Benefits are decent
Always have summers off
NBA can be an exciting place to work, especially if team is good
Cons – Incompetent management
Most employees (non-mnagement) hate it here
Low turnover = hard to advance
Salaries are way below competitors, even though we work in costly Los Angeles
Advice to Senior Management – Look at your own job performance before placing blame on others
Ask employees for their feedback and take their suggestions seriously
