    Pros

Drivers don't do anything except for driving and folding boxes only sometimes when it gets busy; no cooking, cleaning, picking up orders, assisting customers, etc. just driving

    Cons

I can't really think of anything because Lou Malnati's is the best place for a pizza delivery driver to work at. Other pizzerias can not compare to Lou Malnati's in terms of the freedom that drivers have

    Advice to Management

Management should strive to create a better balance at the work place meaning that some people (the cooks) work really hard while others don't really do anything

    Pros

    Flexibility, free food, fun staff.

    Cons

Lack of encouragement and support for hard working staff, more complaints than compliments, overall very difficult management to work with if you are looking for support or positivity.

    Advice to Management

    respect your employees

    Pros

The free shift meal was my favorite perk. Young, energetic management and staff. I had a lot of fun working there part time

    Cons

It can be a little stressful when it's really busy and probably the worst part is you'll gain weight! Watch what you eat!

    Pros

For the most part, my coworkers were always great - friendly, supportive, fun to work with. Free employee meal. Good money, especially during summer time. Downtown locations serve mostly tourists so you don't get stuck in a rut with one type of customer. Fairly permanent schedule - easy to switch shifts with coworkers.

    Cons

Owner is not friendly to staff - wouldn't shake hands with coworker introducing himself. Management seemed stressed out and overworked most of the time - other managers were only concerned with getting customers out at the end of the night. Some coworkers would make offensive (sexist, racist) comments / jokes around management without reprimand. Low pay for other positions (kitchen staff, phone workers, cashiers) gave them no incentive to do job well. Business drops off during January to March so save your pennies. All tips are reported.

    Advice to Management

It's a great thing that they hire servers without prior experience to give them a chance, but many need follow up training / observation. Instill more of a sense of teamwork between different positions, especially kitchen staff and servers, since they work so closely together.

    Pros

Great Food, Can be a fun place to work.

    Cons

Restaurant managers definitely show favoritism among employees. For the most part they really don't set great examples for their younger employees. Lots of crap goes on between the staff members that have been there for a long time.

    Advice to Management

Owners should really check in more. Maybe some surprise visits to check in on managers.

    Pros

You got to eat delicious food for free :) But also, the environment was awesome and the people (coworkers and management) were really down to earth.

    Cons

I can't think of any cons.

    Pros

Laid back atmosphere, great money in tips, great culture (like a family), team members willingness to help, and management is helpful and fair.

    Cons

I can't think of any cons to working at Lou's other than working inconvenient hours, however you need to know you will be working those hours in the food industry (i.e. Friday and Saturday nights, Sundays during football games, etc..) However these are also the nights that are busiest resulting in more deliveries and therefore more money. The last delivery can come in until 10:30 and side-work can usually be done beforehand so although it may be a Friday or Saturday night, you are never working too late.

    Advice to Management

Management was great. Scheduling was fair and worked on a rotating basis. Managers addressed problems directly and never beat around the bush. Managers are always willing to help with even the smallest problems. The managers were also very approachable.

Pressure, make it too clear how expendable someone can be, pressure, customers can be rude, did I mention the pressure?

    Pros

Free meal, good discount, fun co-workers, quick raises, can be easy to get time off, they try to make this a good place to work and there is a company party, overall friendly environment

    Cons

Been slowly cutting everyone's hours and trying to make up for it with quarter raises, business has been gradually getting slower and slower, I'm familiar with the phrase "customer is always right," but in comparison to my previous jobs, too much blame is placed on employees when they get something "wrong." Don't feel comfortable listening to managers talk horribly of coworkers, because I know they speak just as badly of me when I'm not around, have to give up my Saturday evening for a three hour shift

    Advice to Management

Be more reasonable with general managers and managers of stores because they probably feel pressure from upper management and that trickles down to regular employees
