This was a great place to grow your sales in a given territory. They let you be your own boss.

Great people. Fun place to work. They would help you if you asked for it. All pretty good

    Cons

lots of traveling if you were in sales. Territories are large and you will be on the road a lot

    Advice to Management

Listen to what the outside sales team is telling you

I have been working at Louisiana-Pacific full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great benefits and work environment

    Cons

Hard to transfer or promote to other departments unless you are a young twenty-something

    Advice to Management

Should consider experience over a degree when promoting. Just because one has a degree does not mean they can do the job

    Pros

Treated with dignity and respect by management. Given the chance to excel in your work. Given a fair wage. Special attention is given to safety, not just lip service. Your opinions and idea's are solicited and given sincere evaluations.

    Cons

It can be dangerous work if safety rules are not followed.

    Advice to Management

Please keep us going until the economy turns around.
