    TAC Student Assistant (Former Employee) Ruston, LA

    ProsOpportunities to meet coaches and staff as well as be apart of tech athletics.
    Everyone is very close and knows each other by name.
    Great understanding of student comes first attitude and are willing to be there for you when you need them if you are there for them when they need you.

    ConsNot really any cons besides when there is nothing to do and you're just waiting around for something to happen.
    Can get boring when sports are out of season, and busy when basketball season is going.

    In being a student and a graduate assistant, I have loved my time at Tech.

    ProsTech is a great public university located in quaint Ruston, Louisiana. My experience as a worker has been wonderful. I have learned many organizational skills that will help me in my future ventures.

    ConsThe pay for an assistantship is pretty limited but they are unable to pay more due to the vast amount of assistants employed.

    Louisiana Tech University is good but the Louisiana state is very behind in education

    Great tuition discount for employees children

    ConsBecause of state budget cuts, pay increases stopped five years ago.
    State govt. red tape can be a pain sometimes.
