    Pros

There are a few rotten apples in every organization. On the flip-side, co-workers were generally a decent bunch.

    Cons

Management asks its staff to pick up the slack all the time, because they run off employees like an open faucet. Don't expect anything in return if you do them a favor.

    Advice to Management

High staff turnover is surefire way to run a business into the ground.

Continue to have open door policies.

    Pros

They try to match staff and client personalities.

    Cons

No work available when my client cancels. Seems like no solicitation for new clients. They wait til the patient contacts them. PTO hours are so minimal, it takes forever to accumulate any. No other benefits for field staff. Salaries lower than average.

    Pros

The elderly people we serve and the relationships.

    Cons

Maintatining at staus quo. No marketing or care for growth. Upper management for the last year was absolutely atrocious. Poor pay for aides, no team environment, saving a sinking ship is exhausting for all involved.

    Advice to Management

Do not string along employees with promises. Raise the HHA hourly pay rate to meet. CARE MORE!!!!!

    Pros

A great group of people to work with, I truly enjoy going to work every day. There is a true sense of helping each other, across departments and branches. Good PTO and excellent hours.

    Cons

Salary is on the low side and insurance benefits are horrible. Company was just sold so there is an air of uncertainty and gloom.

    Advice to Management

Continue transparency and make sure every one gets taken care of. Remember who got you here.

    Pros

Working independently. If monetary compensation isn't what you are looking for then this is the place to work! Most of the families are in great need of nursing services and are very greatful to have the help.

    Cons

Little to no communication between office and field staff, even if a shift has been cancelled! Low wages, deceitful to get you in the door then things start to "come up" after they think they have you. Field staff foot the bill for mailing in paperwork to office (you don't get paid until the office receives the paperwork for each individual shift). Little to no incentive offered to pick up extra shifts but you are almost expected to do so, their idea of a "raise" is for you to pick up overtime...but said overtime needs to be mailed into office where I have never seen overtime payments come out of. Will only pay RN's $10/hour for orientation. No compensation for milage. Expect nurses to work with very medically fragile children by yourself in a home for around $20.00 an hour. Not their nursing licese on the line is it? Changes such as orders or med sheet corrections do not seem to be a high priority for the office to correct so you are continually correcting the same things over and over. Very high insurance premiums. No new technology...all paper charting. Should I go on?

    Advice to Management

    There is management?

Management and other staff works along side you, always there to lend a helping hand.

    Cons

A lot of report offs, so last minute fill ins are needed frequently.
