I worked at Lucky Eagle Casino full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

There are many employees who work at Lucky Eagle that truly believe in their work and hopefully will continue to benefit from employment. As long as they play along, they are probably ok. The place is clean and well maintained. Company values could be good if they applied to everyone.

    Cons

While it appears that Lucky Eagle is doing well, it is still operating on a double standard. Without their competitive advantage (slots), one has to wonder if they would survive. The benefits are average and the reward system nonexistent. The product and service are average at best and the possibility of improvement is questionable without the ability to address non-performers and politics.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If management fails to address the underlying issues and come face to face with performance in the real world, competition and the outside world will pass them by. It's happening. In terms of stability, operating on the good old boy premise will not carry them forward. Executives have to continue to placate the owners. Management should keep their resumes shined up, because there is no job security.

    Pros

Co-workers that are not tribal are easy to work with. Meals are provided for all employees in an employee dining room. There is some flexibility in your schedule if you are part of the management team.

    Cons

For the most part Tribal members do not have to adhere to company rules and policies. This can put undue hardship on other employees to ensure the work get done.

I worked at Lucky Eagle Casino

    Pros

Management is willing to help and work with employees, you have to be a very poor employee to be terminated from there. There are many opportunities to move up to supervisor levels.

    Cons

Not many upper management positions open up there due to people staying there for many years. Tribal preference can hold more deserving candidates back.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate small things that are going on with the business. Continue the great incentive programs for employees, increase wages for lower level people.
