Pros
GTS is a truly young and vibrant company, where the employees care about each other. The company is very flexible and try to work out a balance between business requirements and employees requests.
Cons
The downside of working in this industry is the salary package. People should have a passion for the travel industry and really enjoy the perks and flexibility to stay here for long time.
Advice to Senior Management
Sometimes it is important to focus on the long term gains, even if the pressure is to produce short time results
Pros
Flight benefits
Job security

Cons
management level no power, not even upper management level
very political
only men have job opportunities in upper management
Advice to Senior Management
listen to your staff's feedback
adjust salary with other airlines and/or industries
Pros
Great people and working environment
Cons
low salary and advancement barriers
Advice to Senior Management
keep up the good work
Pros
Employees are extremely proud to be "Lufthanseats". The management has a good vision and the right controls over the company. The company offers opportunities in multiple locations and business divisions (passenger airline, MRO, cargo, catering, etc.). Friendly and can-do atmosphere at the MRO and cargo divisions.
Cons
This pertains to the administrative jobs (as opposed to pilots, flight attendants, and gate and check-in staff). The culture in the passenger airline is not very pleasant. The people are not as helpful, may be considered a bit arrogant, and about advancing themselves - even if it involves back-stabbing others. The pay is low even by airline standards. Some projects can be run in an overly complex way making matrix organizations look simple in comparison.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep moving forward with reducing the structural overhead costs, but please compensate the fewer people better. Try to keep the many business units entrepreneurial and please fix the "Passage" culture!
Pros
Lufthansa is quite a good employer, that takes care a lot on his employees. The social benefits and the wage are quite good.
Cons
Actually there's not that much to burden on this company. I'm working there for 8 years now and have seen 3 different workplaces, but I still like it.
Advice to Senior Management
Please take care, that the submanagers working according the company values and guidelines as well
Pros
It offers best chances to develop yourself and to work while enjoying what you are doing. More than a job, being a pilot is a fascination for me. I'm very satisfied with my employer. I would do everything the same if I had a second choice. There's not only a lot tolerance, diversity and respect at my workplace but also a very high rate of motivation and ethusiasm within the crew. Every take-off is a highlight to me and safety comes first - if I feel like I was getting the flu, I call our management and a colleague takes my tour. Where else could I be happier to work?
Cons
It took a lot of nerves and learning time before the employment tests but it was NO high price for what I have now!
Advice to Senior Management
Always stay the same as you are, even in times of economic disturbances and the future will be as excellent as the past.
Pros
You can trave over the world with cheap tickets. So You will pay only 10% for the ticket. For excample tripp to NY (from FRA) will cost something about 100 euros. You can use those tickets after 6m.
Cons
Very low salary, dificult working hours
Advice to Senior Management
Focus on employees with knowledge.
