    I worked at Lynx Services

    Pros

Training is usually done very well. The schedules are fair and stable, makes it easy plan and have a family.

    Cons

The cons...i could go on forever. I'm not sit in one place kinda of person but this i a call center so you do 90% of the time. While your sitting you the voice of a company, the people who are talking have often had something traumatic happen to them. So your going to be yelled and fussed at often. It doesn't seem worth the it for the pay. Pay raise are hard to get. You often are overlooked and its hard to move up.

    Advice to Management

The Csr's make you the money. They keep the customer happy. Don't Forget about them. Raises are nice

    Pros

I started as a temp and moved to a permanent position. The people I work with are now friends of mine. Also the supervisor is great. Also it is a call in center so no selling or promoting anything. Just answer the phones.

    Cons

How much information you need to know about any company they call for. You have a weeks training maybe and they send you out to answer phones. It can be embarrassing. Pay is very low.

    Advice to Management

Management seems to encourage growth of the individual.

    Pros

If you are willing to start at the bottom and are good at what you do, you will move up very quickly in this company. If you are lazy and don't want to work you will hate this job. You are expected to work. If you avoid calls you will be gone very quickly. If you don't catch on right away the team leads will bend over backwards to help you until you get it. You just have to have the desire to succeed in this job. Dress code is business casual.

    Cons

This is an entry level job and the pay is also entry level, not minimum wage but not much better. Increases are based on how many skills you learn and yearly reviews, although overtime is plentiful much of the year which helps. You also will spend alot of time sitting down.

    Advice to Management

To retain your quality employees you should do more performance based increases after the first year of service rather then blanket increases. Not all of your employees talent is the same and valuable individuals that you want to retain should be paid accordingly.

    Pros

once in a while they brought free food, pot lucks are often arranged, anniversary card with small appreciation gifts. Some space to grow within the company.

    Cons

weird rivalry between team leaders and training department. salary or Pay rate could be better but you can increase it by adding skills.

    Advice to Management

listen more to the people on the floor taking calls. give more break times - its crazy to be sitting for so many hours.

    Pros

The pay is decent, you get weekends off, and can sometimes get overtime. Those are the only pros I can think of.

    Cons

You are told in training that you will not just get "thrown out" on the floor and be expected to know everything. That is a complete lie! We were all put out on the floor after training and had no idea what to do. When we needed help, it was like a hassle for someone to come help us. This is the worst place I have ever worked at. I had read all the bad reviews for this place and decided to try it anyway, but I should have listened and stayed far away from Lynx.

    Advice to Management

Fire everyone you have as a supervisor, because not one of them knows what they're doing.

    Cons

I was working in a dead end job with zero possibility of advancement.

    Advice to Management

Bunch of idiots with no house training

    Pros

comfortable and clean working environment, indoor, air conditioning, no face to face contact with costomers. good insurance benifits

    Cons

fast paced, favortism, strict absence policy,

    Advice to Management

focus more on quality not quantity. the more you push for people to go faster, the less care will be taken to each call, the higher the stress level, the more illness will occur, the higher percentage of people quitting and getting fired there will be. please end the vicious cycle.
