I have been working at MANN+HUMMEL full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Exposure to C-level situations, will grow your business acumen quickly. Excellent top management - Weber/Wolf/Steiner understand the business and take it personally. US Top management is passionate and knows how to be better than what is offered by competition. You work hard here, but you will be recognized for it. MHUS extends all the resources you need to be a success.

    Cons

Filtration is a hard-to-crack industry. Lots of competition moving overseas to China and this is quickly becoming a difficult category to sell to for automotive aftermarket. However, there is still a great niche market for the MANN-FILTER brand.

Former Employee - Engineer in Bangalore (India)

I worked at MANN+HUMMEL full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Can learn good MS excel and MS Powerpoint

    Cons

    1. Very less pay

    2. Employees are fired without any reason

    3. There is absolutely no planning. A total managers company. Rules and Standard changes according to managers needs.

    4. No value for engineers. All facilities are only for managers. nothing for employees.

    5. For mechanical and automotive engineers no growth as filters is very specific domain. No much jobs outside in filtration area. Career Growth is stagnant if you spend more than 2 years in this company.

    6. Managers do only excel sheet job and dirty politics on engineers.

    7. No motivation to employees

    8. Management and HR is even worst.. Every time they think of cost cutting. if employees getting some benefit they think to save money there

    9. For new joining people in offer letter they show big numbers and tell there is lot of onsite opportunities
But actual in hand salary is very less. hardly any onsite travel. ( only 4 weeks at initial stage for training)

    10. High politics in Appraisal also overall annual increment is very less

    11. No good canteen

    12. No transportation facility

    13. Office located in Peenya Industrial Area which is too much polluted and lot of dust

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please leave your dirty politics and think of employees. They are also engineers and not daily wage labours

Please provide some good facilities like decent canteen, transportation, decent work place

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
