ProsDespite their small size, teh company has closed significant deals for top clients such as Wipro, Tata Sons, Mahindras, Godrej etc

Great freedom to work. Open, collegial atmosphere

    Ability to work across industries

Even freshers get to work on live deals

ConsCompany is stuck in its core business. Haven't been able to diversify into new areas ...

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep it up guys ...

Don't be too much focused on quality of output...just focus on closing more deals

"A boutique M&A house with substantial opaqueness in HR systems"

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

Pros1. Focus on M&A and relatively flat structure
    2. Decent brand recall in Indian market

Cons1. Hire and Fire system and sharp cuts in salaries have been the norm
    2. Opaqueness in both how opportunities to work on deals are provided and how performance appraisals and bonuses are given. (Being close to the promoters is a pre-requisite for success and survival)
    3. Lack of a proper senior management team below promoters- most of the senior management team below the promoters are 5 years+ experienced people given VP/ Director designations
