    Not a bad place

    Checker (Former Employee) Denver, CO

ProsCash, it is a great place to make mad money.

ConsNot much fun. I'm tired of slipping on the wet floors in the place. If the janitors would pick up a broom and mop the floors I'd be good to go.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep working. You spend too much time looking for your next million dollar house than you do actually working on improving the company.l

German Company trying to be international

Project Manager (Current Employee) Düsseldorf (Germany)

ProsLike other good MNCs, the Company provides many Trainings and internal Job opportunities to ensure further career development.

ConsCompensation is a bit on the low side to me. However, it can be improved by changing positions internally, or trying to get promoted.

Advice to Senior ManagementHigher compensation would be welcome, as well as a more flexible work schedule.

Former great and growing company now lost

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsDetail oriented with extensive planning and process documentation
    International presence with intercultural awareness

ConsConstantly changing strategy and organization structure, often lost in the process rather than driven by a compelling retail vision
Short term financially driven with cost management being the preeminent focus which has lead to a lack of respect and value of staff

Advice to Senior ManagementCompel the organization with inspired sales driven strategies in a stable environment

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

An experience where I learned a lot about retail and met great people from different cultures

ECommerce Optimization Specialist (Former Employee) Bucharest (Romania)

Pros- intercultural experience: meet different people around the world and interact with them
    - budgets that can help you create what you need
    - training and clear rules regarding behavior
    - increases the trust and self-esteem of employee thank to the company's culture

Cons- lack of speed in evolution (a large system moves slowly)
    - hard to come up and implement out-of-the-box ideas, no flexibility and willingness to improve fast without efforts
    - needed knowledge in new areas is not taken in consideration by management and decisions are based on instinct, sometimes without strategy
    - sometimes management is the bottleneck in evolution and realizing how the market evolves.

Advice to Senior ManagementUse the people with experience in one are properly, rely on them and listen to advice. Using them as consultants and managers without experience to take decisions is not the best strategy, from my point of view.
