Enjoyable co-workers, market access was outstanding. Ability to trade almost any market at any time.

    Cons

Executive staff cared only about themselves. Office moral was very low towards the end.

    Pros

Managers were very helpful in the daily routine. They motivated us to reach and work harder. They provided many free lunches which was a bonus. It was hands on training.

    Cons

The CRM database was incomplete. We did not know whether the prospective client had just stumbled upon our website or was genuinely interested. The benefits were ok as compared to other employers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should give clearer goals for the employee to reach for and have a realistic chance of making them. Let the employees try different techniques in order for the customer to be satisfied.

The promotion system was based on production which the company put in your hands and the other analysts were knowledgeable.

    Cons

    Pros

    Cons

Was really tough went the company went under.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

Only pro was that there were other staff members that could empathize with each others job dissatisfaction. Turn over was high, you could tell the company was on a downward spiral when the CEO was replaced with Corzine.

    Cons

Cons - everything, pay was mediocre; corporate culture was snobby and cuthroat. Management was highly emotional and verbally abusive. They would joke about how they could make staff cry.

I worked at MF Global as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

The best reason to work for MF Global is that you can work your own hours - company management right now is very lax so you can pretty much do as much or as little work as you please.

    Cons

Some of the downside of working for MF Gobal right now is that your pay will be fairly low. On the positive side, you pay very little in taxes.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should probably iron out a few issues with its clients' assets under management.
