    Put the correct people in mgt that would make the company look good. Encourage the mgt to encourage the team members more. This makes a better working environment for the clients as well as the team members

    Pros

    Family attitude with ability for promotion from within. Management open to discuss topics and intake ideas. Great people to work with.

    Cons

    Lots of politics and frequently we found ourselves reversing on ideas and/or policies based on the person sitting on the other side of the challenge. Making it difficult to know which policy applied on any given instance.

    Consistency is key to any department. Regular meetings with boundaries and expectations for outcome. Consistent application of rules regardless of title and/or tenure.

    Pros

    There is a high volume of cases, that are interesting and more complex. You have the opportunity to learn a lot in a short amount of time here. The size of the company allows you to do some large scale projects that you can't do elsewhere.

    Cons

    Compensation strategies for internal applicants is poor.

    Pay internal talent competitively with the market - otherwise you risk continued high turnover of management positions, high recruitment costs & lose the benefits of internal knowledge.

    Change your ways or go down. Some of the VP's have no ethic. I worked there for less than a year and had to deal with the post unprofessional team of people I have ever met. Backstabbing was encouraged everyday. Very disappointed experience. When I gave my notice, a closing interview was not even offered.
