I have been working at MHI

    Pros

quality product, good reputation good inventory to promote to customers, good basic concept for marketing and support for customers. reputation in the industry

    Cons

treatment of employees, unreasonable expectations for support for employees in comparision to other builders in the industry. Long term outlook for employment is unreasonable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider revamping compensation for employees based on Market indicators and in comparison with other builders to provide a more balanced life style.

I have been working at MHI full-time for less than a year

    Pros

They offer a salary + commission.

    Cons

Upper management makes poor product placement and feature decisions and fires employees until they find someone who can sell it. In realily during this time the company makes feature changes, pricing changes and the market changes (or more popular competitor runs out of inventory).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take responsibility for your mistakes. Just as an employee is responsible to their employer, the employer is responsible to the employee to provide a real opportunity. Making employees your scape goat for poor business decisions is not responsible.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
