I have been working at MRINetwork full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

MRInetwork is a company franchised by about 1000 branch offices, each of them operates independently, but the cooperate prides excellent training and trainer will also go to individual office to provide customized training. If you are a self-driven, like to social with professionals in a certain field and have good relationship, you have good chance to be success

    Cons

it is basically a sales job, you work and survive on commissions

I have been working at MRINetwork full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good recruiting tools to get info or candidates such as LinkedIn Recruiter, CareerBuilder, Monster, Hoovers, Lead411

    Cons

Unrealistic fee expectations. The recruiting world is very competitive and fees are declining due to companies hiring their own inside recruiting teams. Some companies are using a broker to display the job openings and a recruiter must submit candidates through the broker but can't get approval from MRI management. The successful offices are subdivided into sourcers (they find the candidates) and business development managers (they find the company who has the hiring need).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

modernize your way of doing business, streamline. Your recruiters are spending far too much of their time trying to develop new call lists. The business development recruiters need to be able to generate new call lists, to be nimble. There's too much copying and pasting of information=waste of time

I have been working at MRINetwork full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Solid customer service training, teaching each associate the fundamentals of recruiting, marketing, prospecting and client development. Outstanding earning potential as well as the ability to help individuals and companies grow and develop. Even though there are vast numbers of people looking for positions, there is a shortage of qualified talent. Companies need well trained recruiters to find, attract and secure the talent they need to be successful in their market.

    Cons

Long term career advancement (position expansion) is limited due to the nature and structure of the business.

    Pros

This can be the best job in the world or the worst job in the world. Literally. You can pick your clients.

    Cons

Limited personal development and growth potential. If you arent making a lot of money, this can be a horrible job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your people. They know what they need. Give them more formal training that addresses real life situations ~ real world applications.

I worked at MRINetwork full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Owner gets set up by the MRI with manuals, how to, and online support.

    Cons

The MRI network isn't very useful to recruiters. It seems more of a selling tool than an actual tool.
Owners are locked into their commission for ever! They'd better have negotiated well!
My office lacked credible leadership. Recruiting was hit and miss and relied heavily on job postings and their responses.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get a serious hands on manager who knows the industry, then listen to them.
