    Pros

The initial training is top notch for the recruiting industry, and working for individual franchises can be a great thing. For the right person, this can be a huge money maker of a position.

    Cons

Once you're through the training, there isn't much support from corporate that is worth being a franchise for. So many offices have closed in the last several years because of the economy - MRI isn't the recruiting leader it used to be. Some owners are stuck in the 90's with technology and recruiting tactics, focusing on the numbers game.

    Pros

    Pay was decent
Didn't work late into the night

    Cons

I had a terrible boss, constantly talking down to employees, mocking them to the point of them crying, and never having the respect to pay them on time. In my four months there I only was paid on time two or three times.
    Micromanagement
I had to constantly hastle him to pay my outstanding commission ($2300) he did end up paying me a month after I resigned.
Final paycheck was over two weeks late.
    Encouraged to blatantly lie
40 hours a week quickly turned to a consistent 48 hour work week.
    Unreasonable quota expectations

    Advice to Management

MRI is widely considered the McDonald's of recruiting agencies if that's what your going for then great but if your looking to be a little bit classier step it up!

I have been working at MRINetwork full-time

    Pros

The training is world class, the working hours are employee friendly, and the earnings opportunities are strong if you are a go-getter.

    Cons

You have to be willing to spend the majority of your day on the telephone talking with strangers in order to be successful in this business.

    Advice to Management

Keep trying to find the right kind of people to grow your business.

    Pros

None that I can think of.

    Cons

Terrible, boring meetings every single day, even though the Manager is in the same room and we talk through out the day.

    Advice to Management

Let your AE and Recruiters work virtual.

    Pros

good training resources and decent technical know-how for sourcing candidates. high compensation for a some (not so great for most, given the workload).

    Cons

unrealistic expectations by management, CONSTANT revolving door of people they hire to be account executives who quit within a week, a month, a few months. Maybe 1 in 10 make it? Very sad.

if you are considering working here, these reviews for "MRINetwork" are all glowing wonderful reviews. The company is listed also as Management Recruiters on the site, and located in many places. Be sure to read those reviews too. Definitely a different picture, but very accurate, compared to all the rainbows and unicorns in "MRINetwork" reviews.. I worked at the company for long enough to know it is not for me.

    Advice to Management

develop a career track for your own employees.
