    I worked at MRS Associates

    Pros

You get 2 months of training, and if you are literate, you will make it at least through training. They pay hourly but comes with strings

    Cons

Is a potential resume blemish as many companies look down on collections positions. Management is inept, and there is a very low level of maturity in the office. Expect backstabbing, and people stealing accounts. Management plays favorites, and you are only as good as your last month, period

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Eh, depends on the manager, some are solid managers as well as human beings, however, the senior management lacks empathy towards their own employees and most of them lack the ability to actually do the job. Stop whatever you are doing, look at how badly things have turned in the past 10 years.

I worked at MRS Associates full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Bonus checks. The hourly Pay. Some of the employees were very nice.

    Cons

You're only as good as your last month.
Not knowing if you were going to be unemployed or not for the next coming month.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You should stop getting rid of good employees who made you lots of money and appreciate the good ones that you still have. At least pretend like you care! Appreciate your employees

I have been working at MRS Associates full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

I really cant think of anything. pretzel day. The atmosphere promotes a feeling of going to prison every day and what it may feel like. Just deflating.

    Cons

Incredulous senior management, very shady characters in the upper management "click". Very threatening environment. extreme favoritism.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

change all management, especially your "upper" executive management level. very poor! Lacks understanding of Operations in the industry and human understanding. inferiority complexes.

    High Turnover Rate

I worked at MRS Associates full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Experience in Collections if that's what you're looking for.

    Cons

Extremely high turnover rate. High stress level job. Unpredictable schedules. Managers can be a major stressor. Backstabbing and conniving co-workers who will take your account right under your your nose. Don't be surprised if the percentage of your commission gets cut in the middle of the month, and you cant make your budget.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Think about the employees and not just yourselves.

I have been working at MRS Associates

    Pros

The best reason to work at MRS Associates is to find a job fast. Salary can be great if you get a great base pay.

    Cons

Bad HR Reps, difficult and stressful goals for small bonuses, interferes with at home life, turns you into a slave with always changing hours you can't get used too.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees with respect if you want to grow and be honest. Consistently retrain and pay your talented people well. Stop hiring underpaid people from the ghetto to fill seats.

I have been working at MRS Associates

    Pros

Potential for this company to reach greatness is there, but upper management, including C-level need to be less concerned about how much something costs and look at employee concerns.

    Cons

C-Level run the company like monarchy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees, not all of them, but listen. Realize that treating your employees fairly will result in less turnover and you will not lose good people.
