    Pros

Good for people starting a career or interns

    Cons

Too much politics. Need to be strong in digital. It is still a traditional PR firm with business unit heads in PR not digital savvy.

    Advice to Management

    Pay well

    Cons

The head of the office manage to lose nearly half of our clients within the first year he came on board, then put burden on junior staff to bring in more business.

    Advice to Management

Top management in headquarters need to make sure the person they have running one of their offices is not negatively effecting the bottom line.

    Pros

Good food, stocked snacks and drinks, HR and CEO have enthusiasm about work culture

    Cons

The upper management is terrible and make it a very unhappy and unmotivating place to work. They are only concerned about themselves and have zero interest in mentoring or understanding what junior staff have to say. Because of this there is huge turnover giving the office a continual bad vibe.

    Advice to Management

Invest and listen to those below you. Don't harp on as if you know everything. We are the ones doing the day to day work seeing how the account is running. Don't be so narcissistic and only focused on the bottom line. Unhappy talent makes for bad work and unhappy clients. Think about if the way you treat and speak to junior staff is the way you would want someone speaking to your child.

    Pros

The environment is fast-paced and challenging, but ultimately rewarding at the end of the day. Employees have an overwhelming passion to see success achieved through the growth in their peers and the company as a whole. The client roster is top notch with industry-evolving brands and having the ability to work beyond your general area of expertise makes everyday a new experience. Knowing first hand – hard work, personal success and devotion to your job is easily and quickly recognized. Everyone has a voice – junior staff have limitless opportunities to bring unique ideas to the table. Overall, a creative environment with the perfect amount of happy hours!

    Cons

Internal processes could be improved and tightened up. Recruiting/hiring and succession planning needs support due to teams frequently feeling understaffed.

    Pros

I love working on the social team. My manager is thoughtful and fair with feedback, willing to be flexible so we can all use our personal time off and excited for everyone to share ideas. I know this is a team I can learn from and that will help me grow. I've been involved in varied opportunities and given opportunities to show leadership and creativity. One of the best parts is really how collaborative the teams are. The benefits are fantastic and the HR support staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They also try to promote a fun, innovative internal culture that provides opportunities for internal workshops, monthly happy hours and summer contests.

    Cons

Some of the junior staff is well-connected to the most senior-level management, but the overall senior management try to not let it interfere with quality of work.

    Advice to Management

Quality of work is key in staff, no matter the political connection.

    Pros

Extremely challenging work. Chance to work collaboratively and autonomously. Able to implement ideas and be creative. Specialized training across the practice areas to foster professional development. Flexibility to work remotely. Flat organization - leadership is easily accessible. Social events for employees. Bagel Thursdays. Excellent benefits and substantial vacation allotment.

    Cons

There is limited internal communication across the agency with regards to overall business and growth plans.

    Advice to Management

Top heavy environment. The agency would benefit by hiring more support (junior to mid-level staff) to flesh out the productivity of the practices. Communicate more openly with employees across all levels.
