Worth the Commute

Developer (Current Employee)
Englewood, CO

I have been working at MX Logic

ProsSolid product with an excellent management team from both business and technical standpoint and just about the best internal communication program I've experienced. New employees have opportunities to personally meet upper management, and the business plan and mission of the company are clearly and explicitly understood. Mid-level management is highly competent and peer-to-peer collaboration is fostered. This is so refreshing in the technical industry.

ConsThe location. This part of Englewood is pretty sterile, to put it charitably, the far south extreme of Denver, far enough off the beaten track to make it hard to find places to eat at lunch, too far from rapid transit stops to make mass transport practicable.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe transparency and skill of management is possibly the best I've seen. Keep that up.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

Inside Sales (Former Employee)
Lone Tree, CO

I worked at MX Logic

ProsYoung company in a needed industry. Now that they are taken over by McAfee, they are likely more stable. Growth will probably continue.

ConsTerrible benefits. Management at the time was okay, but not very inspiring. Location was terrible as it is on the last exit south out of Denver... extremely far away from civilization in urban Denver. Warm/hot sales leads were given to favorites so their numbers would of course look better and since favorites were determined based on numbers, it makes it nearly impossible to become a favorite since the favorites get the good leads.

Advice to Senior ManagementSpread the good leads more evenly so that it breeds more honest competition between the sales teams. Otherwise it only leads to unappreciation and apathetic work.
