I have been working at Mack Companies full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The people are all striving towards one goal and are willing to go the extra mile to achieve it.
The product that we sell is one of the best available in the country.
There are numerous opportunities lurking around every corner.
No two work days are alike.
You get to learn something new everyday.
You are treated like an adult and a person, not like an employee.

    Cons

Still working on getting a proper corporate structure in place.
Still working on getting the proper benefits in place as well.

Former Employee - Marketing Manager in Tinley Park, IL

I worked at Mack Companies as a contractor for more than a year

    Pros

Multiple varied tasks keep one busy with tight timelines. An successful product and no cap on the marketing budget would initially make this a dream job.

    Cons

The VP of Sales and Marketing is a subject matter expert but definitely has no experience in managing a diverse workforce. Upper management is abrasive with language and actions which speaks to the nature of a family owned and run small business.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees with more respect. Invest long term in your workers and make "full-time" contractors full-time employees. Most importantly, establish corporate values and practice them to the fullest extent!

    Improve operations management
    Establish some company policies
