    I worked at Madame Tussaud's

    Pros

    Can't think of many pros!

    Cons

Management is bad. Lots of greedy backbiting and politics. Employees are not valued. Toxic work environment . No benefits. No thanks for hard work. Terrible dirty and disgusting building. Very high turnover.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Learn to value the employees.

    Horrible Management

I worked at Madame Tussaud's part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The people you work with on the floor are the best. They were flexible.

    Cons

Higher management is horrible and doesnt know what theyre doing at all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Maybe hire people who have worked attractions before instead of elsewhere if youre hiring them for a management position. Also, learn the radio codes, if I used a raido code for aggressive guests and its your job to be manager of the whole attraction i expect you to be the first one to help me or my coworkers. Also, offer employees actual benefits instead of water soaked hot dogs, its not sanitary. OFFER INTERNAL EMPLOYEES ROOM TO GROW AND ACTUALLY LISTEN TO THEM IF THEY SUGGEST SOMETHING.

I have been working at Madame Tussaud's part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Flexible Schedule
    Employees are cool
    can refer people to HR
if you care about getting ppl to come you do get free passes.
    ..

    Cons

Well, I am a " guest host " so we dont have benefits!
OPEN 360/ 7 DAYS. INCLUDING HOLIDATYS and it sucks to work holidays because you dont get double pay or time and a half.
    HARD TO MOVE UP.
    THEY DONT APPRECIATE EMPLOYEES.
    can't purchase any food.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

REMEMBER EMPLOYEES ARE HUMAN. SHOW MORE APPRECIATION INSTEAD OF ALWAYS COMPLAINING ABOUT THE CONS.

I have been working at Madame Tussaud's full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

If your full-time you're good doing part-time sucks

    Cons

Pay sucks, management of higher up don't care about you, Friends get hired before anybody else, not a far environment to move up in the company. If your hourly employees do not get bonuses

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give people a fair chance. Respect the workers

    Pros

    fun atmosphere
if you work there long enough you get some fun benefits like free admission to Lego Land
    hours were alright

    Cons

    lots of cliques, immature staff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I worked at Madame Tussaud's full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Worked with some really awesome people. Cool to see behind the scenes.

    Cons

Management team sucks. Lots of politics and favouritism. No room for growth unless your a favourite. Seemed to care more about the money.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have equal chance for growth, like allowing anyone to take your courses. Also listen to your employees suggestions, especially those on the floor all day.

I have been working at Madame Tussaud's full-time

    Pros

Potential for training, a LOT of benefits with external companies, can be fun to work at depending in your role.

    Cons

Not really a 9-5 so hours wasn't too great, high turnover (which is a sign), demanding job yet never enough staff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please weed out the politics in the place. A lot of people who had potential could have been better than the ones picked for the job (i.e. Promotions) if it wasn't due to politics.
