I have been working at Maggiano's part-time for more than a year
Pros – High-class, potential for raises and bonuses even on a part-time basis. Yearly reviews for everyone on their performance and what management expects in the future. Raises are granted every year based on review. Also free food is always a bonus while you're working. 50% discount when off the job.
Cons – Very long hours. I work in banquets and if I am scheduled 2 shifts in a day I am working 10-15 hours with little time to sit.
Advice to Senior Management – More diversity in certain areas ie. banquets that I work in his primarily hispanics in which makes me the minority. I don't understand what they're talking about and it gets frustrating at times. Instill better training programs. It is hard to be trained by someone that speaks a different language than you!

I worked at Maggiano's full-time for more than a year
Pros – Felt like restaurants of the old days. Decent bonus plan. Hands on. Minimal paper work
Cons – Insurance was great, now terrible. Wrong people promoted. New president is all buy one get ones.
Advice to Senior Management – Should not follow their current path. Not the company they use to be. Give them 4 stars, but as I was leaving I'd give them one

I have been working at Maggiano's
Pros – Co-Workers are great to work with
Cons – Management is racist to the core. They will set you up for failure. Watch your back if you plan to work for this company. Some of the management staff show you no respect, and use their position of management as a tool against you.
Advice to Senior Management – Get over your prejudices. Don't social profile on a person because of there skin color. This is the 20th century , wake up!!

I worked at Maggiano's full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – flexible hours, fun and relaxed atmosphere. the people that work there are dedicated and enjoy being there. lots of support staff.
Cons – no rewards for loyalty here. some people have been there for years and management continues to work them into the ground and then punish them for "bad attitudes"
Advice to Senior Management – maybe some recognition for years of service and a job well done would serve to create better staff loyalty and general attitude.

I worked at Maggiano's full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Fun people
Great food
flexible hours
Cons – When it's busy you're expected to work at their beckoning call but as soon as the holidays are over you'll get shifts dropped all the time and no hours... management is selfish to their bonuses
Advice to Senior Management – Actually speak with a person if you are going to choose to let them go instead of waiting for them to simply term out of the system without explanation. (Bill Billings - Regional Manager)

I worked at Maggiano's part-time for less than a year
Pros – Great learning experience as large amount of food is being produced from what I could see as knowledgable chefs and line cooks create quality food.
Cons – Not anyone in particular that I worked with on a daily basis but had a rude encounter with random manager who I rarely worked with.
Advice to Senior Management – Any and all types of managers/upper management can affect any employee's day with something they may not consider to be a big deal. Remember everyone is a team and without all players supporting them, the team is divided.
