CHEAP with hours and will slave you through the holidays.

I worked at Magnolia Bakery full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

For a beginner in the baking field, it's a good starter job. The staff was nice, consisting mostly of younger college students minus the manager.

    Cons

Pay was on the low side, considering the heavy workload. Not much room for personal advancement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Benefits should be extended to all workers, not only upper management, considering the majority of production and sales are handled by the staff in the bakeries.

    Pros

You get paid every week instead of every 2 weeks

    Cons

Very slow paced, management has no intention of promoting workers. Even when working full-time hours, you get no benefits

I have been working at Magnolia Bakery full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

You get a 50% discount on products but don't go over $80. cause then it's only 10%.

    Cons

Management are buffoons. They blame there staff for issues that they should be responsible for. The starting pay is $8.50 hr but they want you to give each person that walks in an experience. They are always short staff but managers stay off the floor, always out of sight.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You may have happier employees if you work together, raise your pay and promote from within.

    I worked at Magnolia Bakery

    Pros

Being able to connect with customers and to talk with them about whatever you wanted. Being able to just be friendly and to be with friendly people.

    Cons

The drama, but which company doesn't have it? And when I say drama, I am referring to the 1 to 2 people who made the morning shift unbearable. Fortunately though, I always worked evening shifts.

    Wasn't so bad

I have been working at Magnolia Bakery

    Pros

I really can't complain, I enjoyed my time there mostly

    Cons

Lots of standing, lots of incompetent fellow employees. Nothing really you can do about that though.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Promote from within more.

  10.

I worked at Magnolia Bakery full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    There are absolutely no pros

    Cons

They don't pay. The management are a joke, they are completely incompetent and will blame their mistakes on staff below them. Everyone is miserable there and hates the pathetic work they give you. Overtime is not allowed as well no benefits. They will make you work (bake food products) even after vomiting at work, they make you use moldy dairy products like butter and cream cheese. If you like rats and mice you will enjoy meeting lots of them, along with the giant water bugs who love to say hello while you are in the bathroom. Please do not ever work here, and if you must make sure to have a therapist handy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Find another job, please!

I worked at Magnolia Bakery part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Being able to interact with with many people from different culters and creating friendships with my co-workers

    Cons

Pay is low for a company that is (supposable) famously known around the world.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I'm not sure if the pay is still $8.50 but if it is, it needs to be raised because of the duties and demands from upper management.
