    Pros

    This company cares about their employees. We are treated with respect and given great benefits as well as time off. This makes a great environment for the office. I enjoyed going to work.

    Cons

    There isn't really any upward movement within the company.

    Pros

    Nice company to work for, it's a no stress job and the office is beautiful.

    Cons

    It gets kind of boring after awhile of doing the same stuff over and over and there's no where to move up, unless you want to do Sales. It's a good starter job.

    Pros

    Very minimum overtime. Friendly work environment. My manager cared abour the growth of each staff member. Good company image of being in the fabric designers industry.

    Cons

    Frequent lay-off even for employees with so many years of service. A lot of tidious company policies to follow. Couldn't eat snack or lunch at office desk in order to maintain a clean office.

    Pros

    The interior design of the offices were very minimally decorated, serene, and gorgeous - made you to feel like you were working in a very posh environment. They offered a very good benefits package and good training for the sales coordinator positions.

    Cons

    There was a bit of an arrogant air about some of the upper management and higher level employees - taking themselves too seriously as design aficionados. I know that a lot of the lower level employees felt looked down upon by the "upper crust". There is little to no room for advancement in sales roles.

    Advice to Management

    Don't take yourselves so seriously and come up with some additional roles for sales staff besides just one inside sales person and 1 outside sales person per territory.

    Pros

    * 9-5 you'll most likely never be asked to take home work
    * Pretty relaxed environment

    Cons

    * no support from management
    * if you are part of the administrative team, pray the CEO likes your personality or you'll be let go, not based on your work but simply by the fact that he doesn't like you
    * no team building or social gatherings outside of work

    Pros

    Great work life balance. Some very interesting responsibilities outside of the norm for the accounting department. Great group of people and very understanding management. Really seems to care for their employees. Would work for a company with similar culture given the chance.

    Cons

    Recently bought out so long term security in question. Small to medium sized company so it gets a little cliquey and gossipy sometimes. Sometimes feedback on performance and expectations was a little lacking (i.e. waiting until performance reviews to voice issues etc.).

    Advice to Management

    Try to keep employees, such as mid-level management, in the loop as much as possible. Other than that, keep it up.

  11. Horrific place to work for. Updates regarding 'turnovers' (people quit or fired) was constant.

    Pros

    None. 5:00 was the only pro because you got out of there for the day.

    Cons

    An extremely authoritarian place to work for and management is obsessed with control. From harassing you because you had a paper cup on your desk and they were an 'environmentally friendly' company from the IT person on day one who was a hardly a GED candidate give you grief because you forgot to say 'the' in the third line in a 1 minute voice mail message you had to record.

    Advice to Management

    Lighten up and let employees think outside the box. Because employees never wanted to contribute to this place because it was a ton more work and grief if you brought up an issue.
