    Pros

Flexible work schedule which allows you to work more hours on some days and then fewer on others when needed.

    Cons

Poor training, and not a good sense that they care about you

    Advice to Management

Increase the training budget, and reward the star employees better. Especially the ones that have been loyal to the company for a long time.

    Pros

Good pay and benefits, excellent professional workforce with exceptional technical qualifications.

    Cons

Very small pay raises even for top performers, no bonus structure.

    Advice to Management

Implement a bonus structure for your top performers.

    Advice to Management

Instead of talking about treating your employees like family, actually do it! Learn to communicate and listen to employees.

    Pros

Work environment, locations, buildings, software packages

    Cons

Salaries are good, about 80% from the Big 7 Govt contractors. Like everywhere else, insurance packages are minimal investments for the companies.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on long term retention.

  8. Work in deployment areas overseas.

    Pros

Excellent management, and administrative staff. Management has a hands off style, which allows the employees to shine on their own.

    Cons

I am working on a contract, and there is little communication between ManTech headquarters and employees on contract. There is also a disconnect between expectations of contract and headquarters employees.

    Advice to Management

Work on communications between headquarters and contract staff to bridge the gap in expectations. Employees on contracts have little connection with corporate culture and can feel alienated from the culture.

    Pros

They have you set goals each year and how many of those goals you achieve and work performance determines your pay raise. There are often opportunities for advancement. Management actually likes there job so the environment isnt so tense as say a retail sales environment. The pay is also decent.

    Cons

Some departments arent able to work from home depending on management and assignments.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work and keep listening to feedback from staff.

    Pros

The location is good since it's a walking distance to the shopping center. Good working environment at least on the 3rd floor that I'm aware of.

    Cons

I think the health benefits should be cheaper. Their hardware for the Herndon office could use an update. Some people are stuck up and won't even say hi to you.

    Advice to Management

    None
