Pros
You really learn the recruiting business in all facets.
Cons
There are some industries they don't recruit in, but that's typical of most firms.
Advice to Senior Management
Diversify by at least having one recruiter who looks to build opportunities in another industry.
Pros
Great company for a beginner. You learn all the basics of the business. Good training and follow up. Nice group of people.
Cons
Quite high turnover of staff
Pros
compensation is great, atmosphere is fun and we have an awesome owner!
Cons
when candidates dont say yes! high stress, but nothing that cannot be tolerated. I LOVE it here!
Advice to Senior Management
keep the good stuff coming! Love it here!
Pros
A business owner handles the everyday workings of owning the business. You do the recruiting and pay them at least 50% of your incoming billings for the privlege of working there. They do have great training, motivational trips, and opportunities to interact with other recruiters.
Cons
No long-term opportunities for advancement, when you gain experience and no longer need access to the training/support benefits the value of trading your incoming dollars for the support goes down.
Advice to Senior Management
Find value for the experienced recruiters in your group or you will lose them to a decision to goe out on their own.
Pros
Solid training with desk specific assistance. Large company resources. Advanced reporting and analytics. Great vacations for top performers. Reputable alliances (i.e. postings, database, etc.)
Cons
Franchise office connectivity. Web site. Resources available from a company of this size aren't on par with what you might expect.
Advice to Senior Management
Do a better job of communicating with account executives. Assist franchises with issues they are facing. Don't approach each offce with a canned answer.
Pros
Lot's of freedom throughout the day, also the freedom to create your own recruiting personality
Excellent sales training
Chance to listen and learn from other great recruiters
Cons
200 plus cold calls a day
The continuous shrinking world of executive recruiting
Companies not wanting to pay excessive recruiting fees anymore when they can go to monster
Advice to Senior Management
I would tell them to lower their recruitment fees and be more understanding of companies who can't pay
Don't advertise on Monster
Pros
The opportunity is there and the network is great.
Cons
Management has been in disarray for last 3-4 years.
Advice to Senior Management
Set a strategy and stick with it.
Pros
--Great training and upfront about expectations of a Recruiter
Cons
None that I am aware of
Advice to Senior Management
Senior Management from corporate should be more involved
Pros
Learn lots about many different areas.
Cons
No clean objectives or direction on how they can be reached. Very high turnover. Constant shifting of priorities. Franchised org so very mixed messages on whats important.
Advice to Senior Management
Management in a diffcult spot due to nature of franchised orgs. I think they do the best they can with the resources available.

Cons
high stress sales position, sometimes left alone to drift without direction
Advice to Senior Management
