Pros
You can't beat the people; it truly is like family
Cons
Grew too fast, did not manage money very well.
Pros
Working with my team was very rewarding
Cons
Senior leadership is questionable at best.
Advice to Senior Management
Stop the nepotism
Pros
I have met some wonderful people here.
Cons
Leadership promotes themselves and pats themselves on the back while not acknowledging or rewarding the rank and file. There is a great deal of favoritism, particularly towards the Finance area, which has not faced the same cutbacks as other areas. Lots of political strife. Co-CEO/triumvirate leadership is ineffective.
Advice to Senior Management
If you really care, spend time talking to and listening to non-exec employees. Have more realistic expectations. Don't reward incompetence.
Pros
Lots of nice people willing to help! I get to wear jeans every day and my boss doesn't really care what time I get to work. Nobody does, so it's pretty cushy around here. Lots of pressure, but no big deal if things don't get done and they usually don't.
Cons
Very weak and inconsistent management. Too many chiefs. Top heavy. Sr Leaders take care of themselves first. Too many people just collecting their paychecks and not really working. Systems are atrocious and we just keep placing band-aids on the problems because never enough time to fix it properly. The business model is a bit shady.
Advice to Senior Management
Need to get on the same page. We all know you don't really get along and we see it and feel it. Mexico isn't as rosey as you want us to believe, just ask those of us who are really working on this project. Stop with the preferential treatment to consultants who refuse to work here. If they don't like us, they should leave. Instead, you offer them very good paying jobs, with offices, when those of us who have worked here and are loyal get nothing.
Pros
Co-workers are friendly and most are competent. Nice environment; gym facility is good
Cons
Senior management is not very trustworthy
Advice to Senior Management
remove Sam and all, repeat all of his relatives and cronies
Pros
As Mannatech is a wellness company, they are very focused on how each employee is taken care of. The management is very, very fair and is very compassionate when it comes to family and personal lives.
Cons
Mannatech is a global company with offices in over 10 countries, but it does not really have a global workforce (size-wise). Communication between these offices is often very poor.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep up the good work. The best kudos I could give to Senior Management is to not lose the flexibility that has been shown. This company moves faster than any other company that I have seen. Decisions are made quickly and acted upon just as fast.
Pros
Most of the time we can have a good balance of work/life.
Cons
There is no good career opportunity unless you become a friend of your boss. Weak leadership.
Advice to Senior Management
They need to know who really do the job and contribute to the company.
