Pros
Salary will always be delivered to all employees at Manpower plus there is a bonus for buying basic food every month.
Cons
The business model for Manpower is good but is at the expense of employees suffering, because every year you will get only 6 days of vacations, it doesn't matter if you have been working for more than 5 years or 10.
Pros
Smart Peoplel, great leadership and forward thinkers
Cons
People are too busy, need more sales support staff, negotiating ManpowerGroup globally is a challenge
Advice to Senior Management
More support to the feet on the street sales people
Pros
Big company, lots of projects, innovative
Cons
sometimes out of touch, too many procedures, middle management is often in a closed mindset
Advice to Senior Management
bring on board younger people.
Pros
Great benefits package (Medical and Dental)
Cons
Extremely unorganized, unprofessional, no proper procedures in place or streamlined processes. Constantly given conflicting information. Staffing Specialists have so much on their plates, they are abused, and greatly underpaid. Company doesn't care about the front line staff and doesn't care about turnover. There is no incentive plans, no regular salary reviews, no proper training, nor team building activities. Follow-up from HR and other departments take days to receive. No opportunities for advancement, your work is not recognized by Head Office, because they don't know you and don't care what you've done. Going above and beyond is a waste of effort, because it gets you no where. We have too much admin, sales, and other waste of time activities on our plates that remove us from the real work...RECRUITMENT. Clients are always unhappy with us (and they express it to us) because there is so much turnover causing them to constantly meet new Recruiters who don't understand their needs. You're whole day is wasted because you are bombarded with phone calls, payroll issues, invoicing questions, and hundreds of other requests, and not to mention working with an extremely SLOW database that wastes so much time!
Advice to Senior Management
Fix all the cons listed above and you'd have a much better organization with happier employees, happier clients, and minimal turnover.
Pros
Manpower provides a great learning experience because it gives you exposure to different areas to the Human Resources and Staffing field
Cons
The job could be very overwhelming sometimes because it might involve performing several different time-sensitive tasks at the same time
Pros
The Staffing Specialists are friendly
Cons
Availability of temporary work is limited
Pros
Supportive Management
Open to new ideas
Consistently evolving
People driven
Safe work environment
Responsive
Opportunity for growth
Positive company culture
Cons
A noticeable inconsistency issuing annual increases to employees.
The least enjoyable aspect of certain positions is conducting sales cold calls.
Advice to Senior Management
Continue to cultivate talent within the organization. Focus less of re-branding and focus more on technology- software/hardware improvements will help streamline the employee experience.
Pros
Flexibility with my work schedule
Cons
Underpaid for the years I have been in my position
Advice to Senior Management
Employees need to be given the opportunity to review new procedures before they are put into place. We are given tools to use that are not tested by people who will be using them.
Pros
Breadth of services offered to clients.
Cons
Company has grown through acquisitions so some redundancy in service offerings exist. Recent efforts have occurred to consolidate the Finance/IT/Engineering solutions under a single brand. Starting to see some operating efficiencies.
Pros
good location, ethical company, good work/life balance, people are treated with dignity and respect
Cons
salaries are below average. You need to know the right people to get ahead.
Advice to Senior Management
people are overworked.
