I have been working at Manpower part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

I started right away. It seemed like they wanted to get me to work as opposed to other companies that I never hear from again.

    Cons

They gave a schedule, but the schedule I really worked didn't have the hours that were suggested.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I worked at Manpower full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Compensation was fair, and received yearly raises. Work hard, and your hard work will pay off.

    Cons

Working in an office with very few people and having to go out weekly and do door to door sales. On call with a client 24/7/365, which made work-life balance challenging. Due to few positions within the company personal growth was difficult.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire sales people to do the sales and allow the Staffing Specialist to do just that....staff.

I have been working at Manpower as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

This assignment is laid back. Management is easy going and the employees are respectful.

    Cons

Being a temp limit the duties that a permanent person would be doing at this assignment. I might get 20 calls in a 9 hour day.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Can't give advice, this company has there rule, but a person, like myself, goes to work to work.

I worked at Manpower as a contractor (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The flexible schedule and perhaps the fact that you gain on the job experience in a number of different temporary jobs.

    Cons

Wages were [ and I'm guessing by other reviewer-still are] low, usually no more than $0.75 above the minimum wage. As a temp worker, one gets no benefits, however, I worked for Manpower long before Obamacare/ Medicaid for those earning 150% of poverty wages was available.
