Pros
great place to work and self development
Cons
communication between divisions can be improved
Advice to Senior Management
communication
Pros
Decent vacation time to start, lots of different paths to choose from (individual life, group benefits and wealth management, to name a few)
Cons
There is a lot of turnover. I don't know who has posted such glowing reviews, they certainly aren't from my area. People with the least amount of experience are promoted over people with the most knowledge, and there is a lot of work being moved overseas, so for the majority of employees, this is not a company to retire with, as your job is more likely than not going to be outsourced at some point. Our shares tanked 2 years ago, and seem to have never recovered.
Advice to Senior Management
Promote the right people, stop with the friends and relatives bit. Consider experience a benefit, not a liability.
Pros
Good company with many opportunities for career development, good benefits and compensation. Managers are informed and fair.
Cons
Great company to work for. I'm very happy with my experiences as an employee. Sometimes, the company is so large, it's difficult to understand the scope of work undertaken by the various departments. Continued education and training regarding job responsibilites of other departments withing the company would be helpful to better help employees understand the bigger picture.
Advice to Senior Management
Continue to provide information to employees regarding upcoming changes. Also provide more opportunities to observe the work completed by other departments within the company.
