I worked at Manulife Financial full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Salaries are competitive, great company to work for depending on your role, lots of opportunities for growth and development, great pension

    Cons

Slow-paced environment, some coworkers were incompetent but managers did not care, benefits weren't great considering they have their own group benefits program, vacation isn't on par with other companies they want to compete with, you only start getting 1 extra day every year starting at your 5 year anniversary and only get 4 weeks of vacation starting your 10th year there

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of poor performers instead of keeping them and lowering your team's morale because of it
