    Pros

Great ethics, values are written on sleeves. Good meaning people that try their best. there is a lot of pride in the products that are produced here, and consumer safety is key.

    Cons

Only a handful of top senior managers are allowed to make decisions, even the most mundane issues have to be escalated several levels.

    Advice to Management

learn to trust your employees. start to operate like a decentralized corporation. Only when you do that will you be able to move to the next level.

    Pros

The best thing was bringing free products home after they had cleared testing. Sometimes we would get a free lunch.

    Cons

High-pressure environment with culture of shaming. Too many schedules to keep track of. Chronically understaffed. Dramatic lack of middle managers pushes manager work onto over-burdened laboratory staff. Hard to get a break, so easy burnout. No budget for social activity, and no time allotted for it. Performance development review process pushed WAY too hard, you never hear the end of it, and you are encouraged to rate yourself unfavourably...probably because there is nowhere to go in the company (no promotions).

    Advice to Management

Give development/performance feedback regularly so that people have more chance to improve. Stop relying on jealous idiots for your information...try being more objective. Try to avoid developing favouritism...it breeds mistrust
