    Pros

Co workers really wanted me to succeed and open to help me learn. The work environment was pretty laid back, no one was breathing down your neck all the time.

    Cons

No real complaints about the company or work environment. The only things I didn't like about the job was due to the fact that the position was not as technical as I would like.

    Pros

Impressive, growing company, amazing people, competitive salary and benefits (matching 401k contributions up to 7%).

    Cons

Location of HQ. Yes there are other locations, but if you want to take advantage of all those career opportunities, you don't have much of a choice: Findlay, OH it is. Also, depending on the season and your role, don't expect to be working 40 hr weeks: I've worked 60+ when a project's been in full swing.

    Pros

Never a dull moment. Pay and benefits are excellent.

    Cons

You have to be willing to move to advance - most people advance by moving. Strong not-invented-here culture.

    Advice to Management

Find ways to promote knowledge sharing. The company needs more of that between silos.

  9. It was a great experience, highly recommended opportunity.

    Pros

Safety is the number one concern. It was emphasized and carried out everyday within the refinery. As a Co-op you were treated with the respect each full time engineer received. Each employee was polite and willing to help when assistance was required on design projects.

    Cons

It is an inherently dangerous job that should not be taken lightly, however as long as each employee adheres to their training the units will run properly and safely.

    Advice to Management

Please provide a little more information to employees on the location of the badge trailer for their first day of work.

  10. Highly paid to exist in an environment with minimal employee development and little or no employee passion.

    Pros

High pay, good benefits, multiple relocation options

    Cons

Unhealthy and dangerous refinery environment, no passion for work among employees, environmentally unfriendly

    Advice to Management

Don't squeeze so much out of the schedule that employee direction and development is entirely neglected. However it is not the fault of any one person or group of people, but the culture of the company and the industry to be cut-throat and busy to make exorbitant profits.

    Pros

Amazing compensation package. (7% pension, Bonus Program, health benefits and 401K matching up to 7%); Focused on Community and Family; Most Satisfied Employees in America according to 2014 poll; Great Career Advancement Opportunities; Tuition Reimburesment; The list goes on and on.......

    Cons

If you want to move up in the company, you may have to move around the country a bit. But it's completely worth it, and the company really helps with relocation.

    Advice to Management

No advice, it's an excellent company to work for.
