    Pros

Worked as an intern for my undergraduate credit. Great environment for creative growth. Worked directly under one of the main designers on a new product and obtained hands on experience on various aspect of fashion and textile design. Had meetings with creative directors and Marc Ecko.

    Cons

Great experience. Have nothing negative to say about the company.

    Pros

I saw many employees get promoted to supervisors and managers, as well as assistant managers get promoted to Associate or Store Managers.

    Cons

Many Ecko Unlimited stores closing down this year, but they are looking to rebrand- so there could be more opportunities down the road. Although most of their sub-divisions have had significantly less success than their original brand

Marc is a really bright guy, unfortunately the opposite is true for some of the people he chose to manage his endeavors.

I worked at Marc Ecko Enterprises full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The everyday swagger of knowing you work for the guy who made a 7X denim suit for Big Pun.

Being able to enjoy an extremely relaxed, and beautiful office environment.

Ecko is a really cool guy, I'm pretty sure he could get along with anyone.

Some darn good paychecks, plus a lot of freebies and giveaways.

You didn't have to wear shoes.

    Cons

Plebeian business partners with terrible ideas, who literally siphoned off money like a vacuum.

Interacting with shady venture capitalists who may have been facing criminal charges for other endeavors. These sleazeballs introduced Marc to some of those plebeian business partners I mentioned.

Extremely poor choices in management staff.

The embarrassment of explaining to outsiders you work for the guy behind the Rhino logo they see on clothes at K-Mart

You didn't have to wear shoes.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't play nice with shady VCs and don't encourage terrible style or low quality work.
