Pros – As a fresher, you will get exposed to many things that will help you in gaining somewhat good experience. Profile completely depends on your project. If project is new, there will be development.
Meals at subsidized rates. A group company of BSE India hence located in the prime locality of Mumbai.
8 hours of work/day except if you are in RTRMS project.
Cons – Not a good place if you are a lateral.
Very low hikes. Notice period of 3 months.
Will have to come any of the two Saturdays in a month.
Most of the work involved is more of maintenance+operations kind. The developer will be simply copy-pasting the code most of the times. He even has to do Testing since there is no Testing department as of such. Therefore, development work depends only upon some particular requirement.
One has to sit for minimum 10-12 hrs per day (at least upto 21:30 daily) for absolutely foolish reasons.
The project indeed has a good learning curve, but the project manager keeps all the good work with himself giving absolutely no chance for any developer to learn and by bombarding them with all sorts of maintenance and operations kinds of activities.
There are a lot of negative reviews about him in the entire MarketPlace community.
Tasks assigned by him change frequently and at the end, he will ask to submit all of them simultaneously which indeed becomes hectic to developers.
And to add something, he is absolutely not going to help even for small minor things related to business which only he is aware of. As a result, the developer has to sit simply till late night.
His attitude towards the employees is very harsh with constant nagging and bullying them.
When one is about to leave the company, other project managers would relive the employee in a month's time but this RTRMS one would then bombard the employee with all sorts of development projects so the employee has to sit till mid-night which is nothing but in pure terms a good example of HARASSMENT AT WORK!
Advice to Senior Management – Give good hikes in order to retain the staff.
If possible, have a look in that RTRMS project where the Project Manager thinks his employees are some machines which should work 24/7.
