    Okay

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Dallas, TX

    ProsGood vacation time
    Good medical and dental benefits
    Good bonus

    ConsNo growth
    Management not appreciative
    Very political
You have to be in the "cool" group to get promoted

Advice to Senior ManagementNeed more Management training. Senior management is great and should teach somethings to middle managers.
Middle managers have no idea how to criticize or appreciate employees and respect them. They fire wrong people and keep people that suck up to management. Losing good talent

Politics at First, Buttering & lies will win you a world

Assistant Vice President (Former Employee) Noida (India)

ProsPerks could be the only reason one may join Markit India. If you aren't getting that you will not have the last solace even.

Cons> Ever changing policies be it HR or management
    > Politics is at its peak and none plays it better than Dallas
    > Dallas Managers will keep on saying(even in writing) that you are doing amazing work and they are impressed but they may change at any moment when it matters to exact opposite
    > Indian Managers are too engrossed in counting their ESOPs
    > Dallas management is too shrewd to allow any work to come to India
    > If you a buttering kinda person and can make Dallas manager travelling to India HAPPY, you may get what you want

Advice to Senior ManagementBe Honest & Open to your work if not to your employees.
Keep an eye on Middle management, they can screw rather good companies, Markit may just blow over rather quickly.
