    Pros

Midwest division. Wonderful people and great management teams. Solid base of operations.

    Cons

If you received any Bonuses, they were Matched, but not great . Went directly to a 401K fund - not a check.

I have been working at Marmon/Keystone full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Company has been in business 100+ years and is a Berkshire Hathaway company, so they aren't going anywhere. When it's all said and done, hard work gets rewarded. Good benefits, especially the 401k plan and health care. Happy with the work-life balance. Nice company celebrations and lunches. Quality improvement program offers all employees the opportunity to earn bonuses each year.

    Cons

Communication down the chain and within departments needs improvement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest more in training employees, and promote a flexible work environment.

I have been working at Marmon/Keystone full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Some willingness to work with new hires before throwing you to the wolves

    Cons

Office culture is ran by Baby Boomers, so you can expect a lot of gossip and pettiness, especially from older females. Beware of the Hens!

Upper Management has a few individuals who are not afraid to let their homophobia and bigotry fly in an open office space. Multiple off comments from Middle Management about not hiring females because they get pregnant, etc...

Limited personal skill development unless you're an account manager

Endless meetings for Middle Management to feel important

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Accept and embrace new technologies. Your current IT structure is out of date and is build upon legacy technologies.

    Pros

    -Great pay
-Company seems to care about employees
    -Hours are consisent
-Not generally hard to get the days off you like

    Cons

-They are not concerned with your professional growth
-Management doesn't hold everyone in the warehouse to the same standards
Overall a good place to work, but not the place to work if you want the "fast track to success."

I have been working at Marmon/Keystone full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The majority of employees here stick around forever, and that says something about Marmon/Keystone. Hard work gets noticed, the work atmosphere is friendly, and jobs are stable. Office parties (birthday, summer cook out), quality celebration (a day out of the office). Great benefits.

    Cons

Certain positions may require travel to various company warehouses and offices in the region. Employees may also be required to travel to corporate facility in Pennsylvania depending on position.
