I learned a great deal there. Just not what you would hope to about a company that came from such good intentions.

I worked at Marrakech full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Many special needs people benefit from what they do.

    Cons

They were started with a good philosophy. But seems to have been lost. In that there is a set of rules handed to you. For you to follow. But another set of rules they make up as they go along to suit whatever personal desires they have at hand.. That has nothing to do with that good philosophy the company began with.

I have been working at Marrakech full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

They serve a population of client who have historically suffered abuse from society. They attempt to create improvements in the quality of life of their developmentally disabled clients.

    Cons

The company suffers from poor organizational structure and a lack of appreciation for the importance of communicating clearly and consistently and across all the involved constituents.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Improve consistency of communications. Many failures are simply the result of well-meaning employees not being armed with the appropriate/timely information needed to perform their work safely and with good effect.
