    Pros

    This company not only puts the customer first but always puts its employees as one of its top priorities. it was a pleasure to work here

    The only problem I had was the quick shifts that occurred in terms of maintaining the availability of all of the employees.

    Advice to Management

    Ensure that employee schedules are facilitated in a more timely manner and create a system to notify employees about shift changes

    Structured and Resources available to enmployees

    It may be Hard to grow, too much paperwork, internal preferences may not be fair to new candidates. Leadership I'd focused on money and is forgetting the priNiles which made this company successful in the first place.

    Pros

    The friendships along the way. How to deal with different types of personalities from all parts of the world.

    Cons

    Managers do not lookout for your best interest or see what your strengths are within the company. Scheduling was absolutely terrible (when were short staffed totally understandable, but this wasn't the case). Don't work for a franchise.

    Advice to Management

    Appreciate the associates who work overtime so you don't have to be there.

    Pros

    Marriott is an International Hotel Company. This means that opportunities exist all over the world. It is a great first company to work for in the Hospitality Industry because it will connect you with people who have the experience and the knowledge to get you where you want to go.

    Cons

    The downside of hospitality is that the entry level employees can make minimum wage. Supervisors while paid hourly do a very difficult job for the amount of money they earn. Money is made in Management.

    Advice to Management

    My advice to upper management is to help each entry level employee explore the options of what their career can be. This can be in a variety of discussions that takes time and a caring attitude.
