    Pros

The culture here is amazing! As a Corporate team, the people here are great to work with and genuinely care about you as an associate. Diversity is highly respected here!

    Cons

Advancement seems to be based on who you know and how you are connected to senior leadership.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Former Contractor - Anonymous Contractor
    Former Contractor - Anonymous Contractor

I worked at Marriott Vacation Club as a contractor (more than a year)

    Pros

When the project was in lots of trouble, they hired on some really excellent contractors. We were able to find fixes for some deep software bugs that had been plaguing the Business side for 6 years.

    Cons

Unfortunately, the project had underperformed for so many years that after release they dissolved the group (contractors let go; perms had to find jobs in other depts or outside jobs) and moved the project from Orlando to the Maryland team. The Manager got promoted of course.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be proactive in watching how projects are going.
